| It's Monday. Yesterday was Easter Sunday. I spent it with my family up here in Tucson. We went to church and then to La Paloma for brunch. It went better than expected. The best part of the day was when they were showing us to our table and my mom and sister both went "Uhh NO!" to the guy walking us to the farthest table ever. It was in this secluded area that was dark and crappy. That was quite amusing. The rest of the day wes spent doing laundry, watching Alias and not studying for my Bio test that is on Tuesday.
Friday was spent watching Dawn of the Dead: An exceptionally good movie. Funny, Scary and yet not worth the $9 Nora spent on my ticket (she lost a bet about ER). Anyways, I enjoyed it thorougly. Oh yeah, I had earlier gone to the mall with Vene to get something to wear for Easter. Here's some advice: Don't go to the mall on Good Friday when MEXICO is there!
Right now, I'm doing the same thing I do on every night before I have a big test: Procrastinating. My usual methods have already been used before I started writing this entry: I checked the movie.com site, the imdb site and even cleaned my room. I'm not in the studying frame of mind for some reason. I'm too busy not doing anything and listening to music.
All I can think about right now is that Kill Bill vol. 2 is on Friday. The crapping of the pants has begun. I've been waiting for this movie for a while now and I know it'll be totally great. We're doing a caravan to the theater, which is fun. I just hope none of these yavapai people are talkers in the theater, cause then they will pay .
| Right now I'm sitting at my desk not wanting to do my physics lab so I'll do this. Last week was the first week back from spring break. It went by fine, but this week has been tough for some reason. I just don't feel like doing anything. Maybe I have mono, either that or I'm really bored. Anyways, last weekend I went home to Gabe's carne asada and saw all his hot guy friends. Oh yeah... and deb . Just kidding. Deb's pretty cool, and damn lucky too! She got to spend a week on the beach with these guys.
So, like I was saying, this week's been tough. I have a lot to do. My bio lab group project will be starting soon, I have to go to work everyday, I have homework due AND I need to meet with professors about potentially working at their labs this summer. I'm real excited about the AIDS research lab. Yeah it sounds scary, but I think it'll be really interesting.
| Ok, so it's been forever since I've put anything here. It's because I'm really lazy. That, and my life is boring. But this thing also helps me to waste time.
So I'm in the middle of my spring break right now, and so far it's been AWESOME! First off, I went to Seattle for a couple of days to visit Gabe who goes to U-Dub. I had the best time ever! The campus at that school is amazing. It makes the U of A mall look like a shit hole - well, just about anything can make that place look like a shit hole right now - The architecture is amazing over there, and apparently I got there at a good time, cause the cherry blossoms were, well, in bloom. Going there made me wanna transfer real bad just for the sights.
Seattle is an awesome city. It's green, full of hills, and ultra hip. Cafe's on every street corner, and everything else you'd ever want in a city (except for the cold). You even get to see the weird aspects there like guys in dresses. Anyways, the toursty spots were fun. Gabe took me to the EMP (awesome) the space needle (over rated) and downtown (completely worth the five hour plane ride!). Then the next day we met up with mike and briana and hung out all over the place.

Here I am at Pike's Place. This was just after seeing JAPAN, the smallest camera ever, and a guy in a dress (not exactly in that order).
The worst part about the trip was coming home. I didn't wanna leave that place it was too beautiful. I must say, I am considering U-Dub for medical school.
Other than that, I'm doing nothing. Today I sat around and watched TV. I plan on doing that for the rest of my badly-needed vacation.

Here I am enjoying a ride on one of the elephants Hannibal used to cross the Alps. (Was it Hannibal) Nevertheless, it was very odd to find it at a thrift shop on Broadway in Seattle. Go figure.
| Halloween weekend has come to an end and I'm sad to see it go. It was one of the funniest weekends I've had in a while and it's all because of one reason: alcohol. On friday we went to these lame ass parties, but it was fun cause we were drunk. This guy we took with us, dan, who's really boring and dull ended up making out with some random girl, so we cheered him on while being shocked at the fact that he was the only person who got any.
Saturday was YAVAPARTY. So it was a shitty party, but Esther came to my rescue by purchasing a handle bottle of vodka. That made the party seem a whole lot better. Nora and I stood at the stairs and acted inaccessable for a while and then danced.
Today I purged myself from all my sins by going to church. I'm supposed to be studying for my INDV test for tomorrow, but I don't feel like it so I'm writing about my weekend. Well that's about it. I don't have a witty ending and so it will just end like this.
| So it's wednesday night and I guess it's about time I write something in my little hub of the internet. First of all maybe I should start with an intro: I'm a sophomore at the u of a. I'm majoring in biology which means I don't have time to do much but homework.
Anyways, today I went to all my classes except bio cause it's at 9 and I couldn't wake up this morning. So I started with my modern latin america class. It was soooo boring. One of the TA's gave a lecture. He was really annoying cause he kinda looks like a neanderthol (sp). Also, he's an arrogant jerk who didn't let me get into the honors section. But after that, I went to spanish. It was the best class ever cause all we did was watch Il Postino. It's good so far. Phillipe Noiret from Cinema Paradiso's in it, so that makes it better. You know your Spanish teacher is cool when you watch Italian movies in his class because he's getting tired of teaching.
So after that class was lunch with Esther. A little chattin' and chillin' with my bud. My latin america on film class was my next, and final, class of the day. We're watching Amorres Perros in that class. It's ok the third time around. Although the first two times I didn't understand a thing since I saw it without subtitles. Anyways, the movie's weird, but good cause Gael Garcia Bernal's in it and well, he's the best!
So after class, I came back to the dorm and finished my physics lab. That is the most boring thing in the world, but I got it done. Nora and I went to cookie hour and she dared me to take all the oreo's at once to see how the cooki nazi's would react. We negotiated the logistics of the scenario, money was discussed, but finally I said "fuck it" and tried to take as much of the oreo's as I could. What happened was, Sybil, the hall director saw me and pointed out how I was stealing all the cookies. So now I looked like the fat ass that wanted all the cookies to herself. It was still funny though for some reason.
So after that was jeopardy, the best show ever. Although right now it's kinda lame cause the people who get the daily doubles NEVER go for a true one cause they're pussies. When I'm on it, it's gonna be DAILY DOUBLE all the way for me. So after all that, I continued doing my physics lab cause I was lazy about it until about 8 when the OC came on. Sadly enough, I watched it. So then nora and I went to dinner where once again, I made an ass out of myself when I spilled my diet coke ALL over the table after I made fun of nora. It's karma I guess. We discussed our plans for our "sylvann" commercial. I'm not gonna let them out cause they're sooo damn funny that i know someone's gonna steal 'em. So we proceeded to laugh for a while and then headed back.
so now it's almost one and i'm here writing all this stuff that's completely boring and NOBODY will read. So I guess I'll just end this entry with a quote I just saw on TRIO
"the world must be fucked up when people travel first class while literature travels freight"-Gabriel Garcia Marquez
